Rajisha Vijayan, who recently received praise for her performance in the Malayalam film June, might be roped in to play the lead in Dhanush’s upcoming film with Mari Selvaraj.

Speculation also suggests that the film will be titled Karnan. If it happens, this film will mark Rajisha’s debut in Tamil. The untitled project is likely to be produced by Kalaipuli Thanu.

Rajisha is currently awaiting the release of her upcoming Malayalam film, Finals. Dhanush, on the other hand, is gearing up for the release of Asuran, his film with Vetrimaaran. Incidentally, this film will mark the debut of Manju Warrier in Tamil.

Dhanush is also currently working on his project with Karthik Subbaraj, which will co-star Aishwarya Lekshmi, another known name in Malayalam cinema.
