The incessant queries from Telugu Vijay fans on Twitter about the release of Verrekkiddam, the Telugu version of Verithanam, from Whistle (Bigil), have finally been answered by the makers, AGS Entertainments. Here's the link to Verrekkiddam.

The song has been sung by Revanth. The lyrics of this number have been written by Rakendu Mouli.

Whistle/Bigil, a sports drama, directed by Atlee, also stars Nayanthara, Yogi Babu, Jackie Shroff, Kathir, and Vivekh in important roles. Vijay, who plays dual roles in the film, features as a women football team's coach. Actors like  Indhuja, Varsha Bollamma, Amritha, and Reba Monica John play footballers in the film, which is slated to release this Diwali.
