Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Kaithi starring Karthi has opened to unanimously positive reviews from both audiences and critics. The film which hit the screens yesterday has been fairing extremely well at the box office too. 

The fans of the film and actor have new reasons to be happy about as Karthi who met the press today revealed that the script of the sequel to Kaithi is complete. "Lokesh has asked for just 30 days of my call sheet to finish Kaithi 2. So, you can expect a sequel from us."

Meanwhile, director Lokesh, who thanked the audience and his team for the success of the film, hinted the sequel saying, "Dilli will be back.”

The film co-starring Narain, has music by Sam CS and cinematography by Sathyan Sooryan.
