Nawazuddin Siddiqui to make Telugu debut in Venkatesh’s next?

After making his Tamil debut in Petta, actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has trained his gaze on Telugu cinema. As per reports, Nawazuddin is likely to star in prominent role in Venkatesh Daggubati’s upcoming film with director Tharun Bhascker.

The untitled project is an action comedy set against the backdrop of a horse racing club in Hyderabad, reports claim. Tharun is presently finalising the script and is expected to make an announcement soon. The film, produced by Suresh Babu, will go on floors later this year. 

Nawazuddin played a politician named Singaar Singh in Rajinikanth’s Petta. On the Bollywood front, Nawaz has a special appearance as ‘Ramsey Baba’ in Housefull 4, releasing tomorrow.

The actor’s upcoming films are Roam Rome Mein, Motichoor Chaknachoor, Bole Chudiyan and Raat Akeli Hai. He plays the protagonist in Sudhir Mishra’s forthcoming Netflix series Serious Men, an adaptation of Manu Joseph’s book of the same name.
