Padosan, Andaz Apna Apna among Hindi comedies featured in Open Air Screening of 50th IFFI

The golden jubilee edition of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) is set to feature some Hindi comedic gems in its Open Air Screening section. 

The theme of the Open Air Screenings for the 50th IFFI is ‘The Joy of Cinema’. Even the Indian Panorama section will be featured as Open air screenings in the festival. This year, the screenings will be organised at two venues — Joggers Park (Altinho, Panjim) and Miramar Beach (Panjim) — from ​November​ 21-27.

While Jogger’s Park will screen movies on comedy and related genres, Miramar Beach will screen select movies of the Indian Panorama section. These movies will be open to everyone, and will not require any registration.

Hindi comedy movies such as Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi, Padosan, Andaz Apna Apna, Hera Pheri, Chennai Express, Badhaai Ho, and Total Dhamaal will be screened at Jogger’s Park. 

The list of movies to be screened at Miramar Beach include Nachom-ia Kumpasar (Konkani), Super 30 (Hindi), Anandi Gopal (Marathi), Uri : The Surgical Strike (Hindi), Hellaro (Gujarati), Gully Boy (Hindi), and F2 – Fun and Frustration (Telugu).
