Producer RK Suresh turned actor with director Bala’s Thara Thappattai, and he went onto star in films like Marudhu, Ippadai Vellum, and Sketch. He then turned hero with the film Billa Pandi. Now, the producer-turned-actor is set to play a dual role in a film called Kailashagiri, which will be helmed by Telugu director Thota Krishna.

Talking about the film, Thota Krishan says, “The film is about a 1000-year old maragadha lingam. A group tries to steal it from a temple and sell the statue. RK Suresh attempts to stop them and retrieve it. How he stops the culprits is what Kailashagiri is all about. We have used extensive CGI sequences in the film.”

The director also reveals that they are planning to release the thriller in November. Kailashagiri, which also features Madhubala, Sagar, Murali Krishna, and Meghana Sri Lakshmi, will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
