Even as Bigil trailer is setting records on YouTube, the film has minted a whopping amount in satellite and digital rights, ahead of its theatrical release.  

It is rumoured that Sun Network has bought the rights of the Vijay-starrer for Rs 25 crore and the streaming platform, Amazon Prime has acquired the digital rights for Rs 20 crore. Bigil has been made on a budget of Rs 180 crores. With the pre-release collection of Rs 45 crore, it looks like Vijay already has a blockbuster in his hands.

The trailer of Bigil, which was launched on October 12, has floored fans of Vijay. It has also garnered the attention of many celebrities. From Karan Johar to Shah Rukh Khan, many from the industry heaped praise on the trailer. 

Bigil marks director Atlee's third collaboration with Vijay. Nayanthara, Yogi Babu, Jackie Shroff, and Kathir play important roles in the film, which has music by AR Rahman.
