Pogaru, Dhruva Sarja’s upcoming film directed by Nanda Kishore, will be a Kannada-Telugu bilingual. With several Kannada filmmakers expanding their market to other languages, the makers of Pogaru are looking at the Telugu market because they feel the mass content will appeal to the audiences there.

The team is planning to come up with a special trailer, which will be unveiled on October 24, followed by a different trailer for the Telugu version, which will be released 15 days later.

In Pogaru, produced by BK Gangadhar, Dhruva says he will be seen in a "notorious" character. Having completed the talkie portions, the actor will next shoot the song sequences, and complete the remaining patches, before he gets busy with preparations for his marriage, which is taking place in November.

Pogaru also stars Rashimka Mandanna, who was last seen in the Darshan-starrer Yajamana. The film also features Dhananjay as the antagonist, and Raghavendra Rajkumar in a pivotal role, along with Ravi Shankar and Sadhu Kokila as part of the ensemble cast.

The highlight of Pogaru will be the climax, which will feature well-known international bodybuilders and athletes — Morgan Aste, Kai Greene, John Lucas, and Jo Linder. While the film’s music has been composed by V Harikrishna, Vijay Milton is in charge of the camerawork.

The production house is looking to release Pogaru on December 27.

Meanwhile, Nanda Kishore and Dhruva will be teaming up for another project, which will be produced by Uday K Mehta.
