Cheran: Rajavukku Check will teach girls about the society we are living in

The actor-director spoke at the audio launch of his upcoming film, Rajavukku Check, which happened today in Chennai

Cheran, who is back in the limelight after his successful stint in Bigg Boss Tamil Season 3, will next be seen in the film Rajavukku Check, directed by Sai Rajkumar of Mazhai fame. The film’s album, composed by Vinod Yajamaanyaa, was launched today in Chennai with all the members of the cast and crew in attendance. The makers also unvieled the trailer of the thriller at the event. 

Speaking at this event, actor Cheran said that the film imparts an important message to society. “Rajavukku Check is a thriller meant for the family audience. It will teach our girls about the society we are living in. I worked in the film for just 25 days. It was shot in a very quickly and the credit for this goes to director Rajkumar.”

Director Sai Rajkumar, on the other hand, praised Cheran for his performance. He said, “Cheran will not direct films after the Rajavukku Check's release because he will become busy as an actor. I am sure he will be flooded with offers. I have no doubts about it.”

Other than Cheran, the film stars Srushti Dange, child artiste Nandana Varma, and Irfan of Kana Kaanum Kalangal fame. Pallatte Kokkatt Films has produced the film.

Cheran’s friend Vasantha Balan and Sai Rajukumar’s mentor Saran presided over the audio launch as chief guests.
