Srikanth, who was last seen in the Telugu film Rocky: The Revenge earlier this year, will next team up with choreographer-actor Dinesh of Oru Kuppai Kadhai fame for an upcoming thriller. Titled Sambavam, the film will be directed by Ranjith Parijatha, an erstwhile assistant of A Venkatesh.

With Poorna and Srushti Dange playing the female leads, the film will also feature Thambi Ramaiah, Rajendran, and Jayaprakash. Based on true events, Sambavam is said to be the story of a righteous common man and the problems he is pushed to face.

Sambavam will have music by Amrish, cinematography by Gopi Krishna, choreography by Dinesh himself, and dialogues by Neelan K Sekar. The crew began shooting for the film recently in Chennai.

Meanwhile, rumours also suggest that Srikanth might be roped in for Kannai Nambathey, Udhayanidhi Stalin’s film with Mu Muran. He also has Un Kadhal Irundhal, Miruga, and Maha in the pipeline.
