The trailer of Vijay's Bigil, directed by Atlee, was launched yesterday evening. Vijay's dual role as the footballer son and the don father was met with jubilations among his fans. Celebrities such as Shah Rukh Khan, Billy Duke, Varun Dhawan, Vivek Oberoi, and Karan Johar have lauded the trailer, which has amassed 18 million views in 24 hours.

Meanwhile, Archana Kalpathi of AGS Entertainment, the creative producer of Bigil, has released a video featuring the professional football players who are featured in the film. In the video, the players are watching the trailer and celebrating their appearances in it.  One player in particular is ecstatic, jumping in the air exclaiming that he is there in a scene.

Bigil is slated for release this Diwali.
