Any hope of Walter White aka Heisenberg's return has been crushed as Breaking Bad-creator Vince Gilligan confirmed the death of the popular character played by Bryan Cranston.

Breaking Bad ended with a shot of Walter White (Bryan Cranston) lying on the floor as police surround the meth lab. Though the last shot suggested that Walter White succumbs to the bullet wound, fans were hoping that there will be a surprise return of the beloved character.

However, Vince Gilligan, in his recent appearance on The Rich Eisen Show, said, “Yes, Walter White is dead.” For many years, Gilligan has been giving ambiguous answers to the question of Walter White's death, which has kept hope alive for fans.

El Camino, which stars Aron Paul in the lead, is about the life of Jesse Pinkman, another lead character of Breaking Bad. The trailer suggests that the movie starts off right from the scene where Jesse flees in a car with his new-found freedom.

Charles Baker’s Skinny Pete and Matt L Jones’s Brandon ‘Badger’ Mayhew, the long-time friends of Jesse Pinkman will also return in El Camino. The movie premieres tomorrow on Netflix.
