Parthiban’s Oththa Seruppu Size 7 and Lakshmi Ramakrishnan’s House Owner have been picked to be showcased at the International Film Festival of India 2019 which happens at Goa. The two films are part of the Golden Jubilee year at IFFI where 26 other regional movies will also be screened.

Congratulating each other, both Lakshmi and Parthiban said that this would help them follow their creative pursuits more confidently. In a statement, Lakshmi thanked the jury and said, “Although, I was very happy about how my industry friends, press and media received the film, I was in a dilemma whether to change my pattern of filmmaking.  This turn of events nurtures me with more confidence to pursue my passion.”

Pathiban, on the other hand, said, ”This film might be labeled as a one man show, but I strongly utter that this one man had many backbones, who extended their unconditional support. Such honours aren’t just a reason to celebrate, but proceed ahead to explore with new experiments.”

Last year, Pariyerum Perumal, Peranbu, To Let and Baaram were screened at IFFI under the Indian Panorama section.
