It is no secret that Gautham Menon loves his music. The director has now sung for the upcoming film Puppy, which has music composed by Dharan Kumar. The song, named Uyire Vaa, is a melody penned by Mirchi Vijay, that also features the vocals of Alisha Thomas.

Puppy, starring Yogi Babu, Samyukta Hegde, and debutant Varun, was recently in the news when its first-look was embroiled in controversy for featuring godman Nithyananda alongside porn actor, Johnny Sins.

Interestingly, including Gautham Menon's track, four songs from Puppy’s album have been sung by celebrity voices. While Anji Manikku was sung by Yuvan Shankar Raja, Anirudh Ravichander sang Superstar Song and Soththu Mootai saw RJ Balaji making his singing debut.
