Payal Rajput's new film Venky Mama, a multi-starrer also featuring Venkatesh, Naga Chaitanya and Raashi Khanna, will feature her as a school teacher. Directed by Bobby, the film is set against the Army backdrop and is expected to be a wholesome family entertainer.

"Payal Rajput plays a school teacher, who lands up in a remote village of coastal Andhra. She gets to meet Venkatesh, who doesn't wish to get married, and love blossoms between them. Her character exhibits an interesting trait in the film. Whenever she is angry or addressing a serious issue, she speaks in Hindi, which her partner and others find funny. She fell in love with her character a lot and had a great time on the sets," says a source.

The team is currently filming a song on the lead cast in a specially constructed set in Ramoji Film City. Produced by Suresh Babu and TG Vishwa Prasad, Venky Mama is slated for release in December.
