Tannishtha Chatterjee wins Asia Star Award at Busan 2019 for  Roam Rome Mein

Tannishtha Chatterjee was awarded the Asia Star Award at the Busan International Film Festival for her directorial debut Roam Rome Mein. The film stars Tannishtha and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead roles. 

The award was jointly presented by Marie Claire and BIFF in the presence of the cast and crew. “It was already a huge moment to have Roam Rome Mein, my debut feature as a director, in the official selection of one of the biggest festivals in the word,” Tannishtha said. “On top of this to win the Asia Star award is just the icing on the cake. I couldn’t have asked for anything better.”
 
Producer Ridhima Lulla of Eros Entertainment shared, "It's wonderful to see Tannisththa get this prestigious award and we at Eros are so proud to be associated with Roam Rome Mein.” 
 
Roam Rome Mein also stars Valentina Corti, Isha Talwar, Francesco Apolloni, UrBano Barberini, Pamela Villoresi, and Andrea Scarduzio. The film has sound designed by four-time National award winner Bishwadeep Chatterjee and music by Alokananda Dasgupta.
