The first schedule of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 will go on floors on Dussehra (October 8). The film stars Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani in the lead roles. Shooting will commence with a brief schedule in Mumbai with Kartik, claims report. Kiara will join him in the second schedule which kicks off next year.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is directed by Anees Bazmee. The screenplay is by Farhad Samji and Aakash Kaushik. The film is slated for release on July 31, 2020. 

Released in 2007, Bhool Bhulaiyaa was a psychological horror comedy starring Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan. The story was adapted from the 1993 Malayalam film Manichitrathazhu. 

Kartik Aryan has finished shooting for Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming next. He will also be seen in Pati Patni Aur Woh and Dostana 2.

On the other hand, Kiara Advani, who made her Bollywood debut with Fugly, was recently seen in Kabir Singh.
