Hansika, who is currently busy with her 50th film Maha, has confirmed that her next film is not with Saravana Stores owner Saravanan Arul. The actor has collaborated with the business tycoon many times for advertisements. Hansika took to Twitter where she shared a newspaper clipping citing that the two are teaming up for a film and captioned the image, "not true".

In a statement, the actor said, "I came across news being published on my next film, which is completely a baseless rumour. Henceforth, I request press and media friends to clarify anything involving my project with me before getting it published. I would like to affirm that anything involving my new projects would be officially announced by the respective production houses and my spokespersons."

Arul is said to be working on a film with director duo JD and Jerry, known for their TV ads and films such as Ullasam and Whistle. Several articles online suggest that Arul will be playing an alien in the film. There are also reports that top actors such as Tamannaah and Nayanthara have also been approached for the film. However, an official confirmation is awaited on the same.

Meanwhile, Hansika is also working on Partner, directed by newcomer Manoj Damodaran. The film also stars Aadhi, Pallak Lalwani, Pandiarajan, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, and Ravi Mariya.
