Vaibhavi Shandilya makes her web-series debut  

Director Vijay Chander of Vaalu and Sangatamizhan fame has produced the series

Actor Vaibhavi Shandilya, who made her Tamil debut with the 2017 Santhanam starrer Sakka Podu Podu Raja, is making her Tamil web-series debut with Zee5's Nisha which premieres on October 18. The first look which is making its rounds on social media features a handcuffed and chained Vaibhavi smoking a cigarette and holding a butcher's knife in the other hand. A source close to the unit says, "The series is a thriller that will be raw and rustic. Vaibhavi plays a challenging role in Nisha. Director Vijay Chander of Vaalu and Sangatamizhan fame has produced the series that's directed by Karthik, a debutant." 

Meanwhile, Vaibhavi also has the Jai starrer Capmaari directed by veteran filmmaker SA Chandrasekhar in the pipeline. The actor is also awaiting her Hindi web series Chhatrasal which is based on the medieval Indian warrior Maharaja Chhatrasal who fought the Mughals.
