Kannada actor Rakshit Shetty says he was approached for Rajinikanth's Darbar

Rajinikanth recently finished dubbing for the project, which is expected to hit the screens this Pongal

Kannada actor, Rakshit Shetty, whose next multilingual, Avane Srimannarayana, will release in Tamil Telugu, and Kannada, on December 27, has revealed in a recent interview that he was approached for a pivotal role in Darbar, but he missed the opportunity to work with Superstar Rajinikanth. 

Rakshit claimed that he could not take up the role in Darbar as he was busy with Avane Srimannarayana, which he has also scripted. He also expressed his wish to act with Rajnikanth in another film, soon.

Rajinikanth, who plays a cop in Darbar, recently finished dubbing for the project, which is expected to hit the screens this Pongal. 

Ar Murugadoss' Darbar, co-starring Nayanthara and Suniel Shetty, has music by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography by Santhosh Sivan.
