Kaithi villain Arjun Das joins Thalapathy 64

RJ-turned-actor Arjun Das, who made his debut as the villain earlier this year in Lokesh Kanagaraj's Kaithi, has joined the cast of the filmmaker's upcoming project with Vijay, Thalapathy 64. Arjun has reportedly replaced Malayalam actor Antony Varghese in the film. 

Thalapathy 64, co-starring Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohanan, Andrea Jeremiah, Shanthanu, Ramya Subramanian, is touted to be a dark action-thriller, set in the backdrop of a college.

The project is progressing at a brisk pace and speculations state that the film, bankrolled by XB Film Creators, will get a release on April 9, 2020. 

Thalapathy 64 has music by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography by Sathyan Sooryan.
