Following the wrap of Pon Magal Vandhal, Suriya's 2D productions has announced it's next project. The yet-to-be-titled film directed by R Saravanan, once again stars Jyotika in the lead, along with Sasikumar and Samuthirakani.

Also starring Soori, Kalairasan and Magalir Mattum-fame Nivedhithaa Sathish the rural drama has music by D Imman and cinematography by Velraj. 

The film was launched today in Suriya's Agaram foundation office, in Virugambakkam. The shooting is said to happen in Pudukottai and Tanjore.

The director of the film, R Saravanan, made his debut through Kaththukkutti, starring Narain, in 2015. 

Apart from this film, Jyotika is currently awaiting the release of Thambi, co-starring Karthi. Sasikumar, on the other hand, has films like MGR Magan, Na Na, Raja Vamsam and Kombu Vecha Singamda in various stages of production.
