Filmmaker-actor Prakash Jha revealed today that he will be playing the central character in an upcoming film. The critically-acclaimed director made his acting debut as an antagonist in his own directorial, Jai Gangaajal, starring Priyanka Chopra in the lead. He also recently played a character with grey shades in Saand Ki Aankh.

Sources state that his upcoming film is currently in the post-production stage and an official announcement about the project will be made soon. 

The actor was recently part of a session, titled 'Bringing real life to reel life' at the 50th IFFI. He was accompanied by Adil Hussain, the lead of his upcoming directorial Pareeksha.
