KISS, starring newcomers Virat and Sreeleela, has completed a 50-day run in over 45 theatres in Karnataka.

“My film released along with many big releases. So the film did not have a strong first week, but it took off very well from the second week. I am glad that it is still doing well,” says AP Arjun, adding that he is doubly excited since this is his production venture as well.

Arjun goes on to add that, owing to the title, many families gave the film a skip at theatres. “Instead, our film attracted a lot of youngsters, many of whom were repeat watchers.”

KISS, with music by V Harikirshna and cinematography by Arjun Shetty, is still running in theatres and the director hopes to soon hit a century.

Even as the talks for a sequel to KISS are ongoing, Arjun has roped in Virat for another project. This film is likely to go floors in December.
