Director KS Ashoka's Dia release date postponed

Produced by Krishna Chaitanya, Dia was supposed to be released in November but has been delayed due to the addition of two more songs

Dia, a film by KS Ashoka, the director of 6-5=2, will not be released this month as originally planned. The reason for the delay is that the romantic drama will now feature two songs which were not part of the initial script.

The change was apparently brought about on producer Krishna Chaitanya’s insistence. And after a few rounds of discussions, the team has decided to include these two tracks.

Music director Ajaneesh B Loknath, who has also provided the background score for the film, is currently working on the new songs. A new release date will be announced once the crew completes shooting the new songs.

The film, starring newcomer Kushi in the lead, also features Prithvi and Deekshit Shetty. It has two cinematographers — Vishal Vittal and Sourabh Waghmare.

Diya is being made under the banner of Family Film Factory and will be distributed by KRG Studio.
