If Joker manages to make $63 million more, it will cross The Batman Begins to become the highest-grossing film in the Batman universe.

Starring Joaquin Phoenix, Joker polarised audiences worldwide. The film was critisised for promoting ‘violence and incel culture’. However, the film’s run at the box office has been robust and Joker has become the highest-earning R-rated film.

Joker, a non-comic book take on the popular villain, is also believed to be the most profitable comic book movie of all time.
