Venu to direct Asif Ali and Parvathy next?

CE Features

As per reports, director Venu, who made Carbon with Fahadh Faasil last year, will direct Asif Ali and Parvathy in a segment for an upcoming anthology project. We recently reported that this project will also have directors Jay K, Rajeev Ravi, and Aashiq Abu making their individual segments.

The segment helmed by Jay K has already been filmed while Aashiq Abu's segment, titled Pennum Cherukkanum, began filming recently. Aashiq's film is based on a story by writer-novelist Unni R and has Shyju Khalid cranking the camera. Both the Rajeev Ravi and Venu segments are expected to begin filming by December.

Asif and Parvathy were last seen together in the critically acclaimed Uyare. The former's upcoming films include Ketyolaanu Ente Malaakha, Kunjeldho, and an upcoming full-length feature to be helmed by Rajeev Ravi. Parvathy will be next seen in Sidharth Siva's Varthamanam.
