The first look posters of Vaanam Kottatum, directed by debutant Dhana and co-written by Mani Ratnam, was launched today morning. Apart from contributing to the script the ace filmmaker has also bankrolled the film, which stars Vikram Prabhu, Madonna Sebastian, Aishwarya Rajesh, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Sarathkumar and Radikaa Sarathkumar. 

The poster of the multi-starrer features Sarathkumar playing his age for the first time in a full-fledged role. It may be recalled that Mani Ratnam had bankrolled 1993's Dasarathan, which starred the actor in the titular role. Vaanam Kottatum is touted to be a family drama which revolves around the lives of the siblings played by Vikram Prabhu and Aishwarya Rajesh, and their parents Sarathkumar and Radikaa Sarathkumar. 

Also starring  Velaiilla Pattadhari-fame Amitash Pradhan, Nandaa, and filmmaker Balaji Sakthivel, the film has music by Sid Sriram, cinematography by Preetha, editing by Sangathamizhan and lyrics by Siva Ananth
