Ford v Ferrari, which is already getting Oscar buzz, is all set to release in India on November 15. As fans are looking forward to the release of the film, which stars Matt Damon and Christian Bale, CBFC has made a bizarre decision to blur the alcohol bottles and glasses with hard liquor in the film. 

Earlier, CBFC only censored the alcohol brand names in films, and a statutory warning sign appears on the screen whenever a character in the film is seen smoking or consuming alcohol. Even such warnings were criticised of ruining the cinematic experience. 

The new decision from the CBFC has shocked the fans, and many took to Twitter to criticise the decision. 

Directed by James Mangold, Ford v Ferrari is a period biographical film that follows the story of Ford’s mission to build Ford GT40 to beat the Ferrari racing team, which was the consistent winner of racing events.
