Kangana Ranaut’s Panga will hit screens on January 24. Directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, the film went on floors last year in Bhopal.

Panga is a sports drama about a national-level Kabaddi player from India, played by Kangana. It follows her ‘triumphs, struggles and overcoming of stereotypes’ with the support of her family.

Also starring Richa Chaddha, Jassi Gill, Neena Gupta in key roles, Panga is produced by Fox Star Studios.

Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari is known for directing Nil Battey Sannata and Bareilly Ki Barfi. She will next be helming a biopic on Infosys founder Narayana Murthy and his wife Sudha Murthy. 

Kangana Ranaut recently started shooting for Thalaivi, a biopic on former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa.
