CE Features

As the trailers of Mamangam have already made it clear, Unni Mukundan plays one of the central characters in the film. His character, Chandroth Panicker, is one of the warriors engaged in a long, arduous battle against the Zamorin rulers along with a bunch of other heroes essayed by Mammootty, Prachi Tehlan, Achuthan and others.

The post-production of the big-budget historical epic, which is releasing in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil in addition to Malayalam, is currently underway and Unni has shared that he has dubbed in his own voice for the Hindi version. The actor is comfortable with the language as he had spent his childhood days in Ahmedabad.

Mamangam, directed by M Padmakumar, was earlier scheduled to be released on November 21, but now we hear that the date has been changed. It is most likely to arrive in theatres next month. The new date is yet to be officially announced.
