Nithya Menen is all set to lend her voice for the character of Elsa in the Telugu version of Walt Disney's Frozen 2.
Earlier, it was speculated that actors Kajal Aggarwal and her sister Nisha would be dubbing for the female leads in Telugu, but that never materialised. Now, Nithya has come on board.
Known for her strong roles in films like Ala Modalaindi, Ishq, Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde, Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju and Awe, Nithya will be dubbing for the warrior queen, originally voiced by Idina Menzel.
Excited on her collaboration with Disney, the 31-year-old-actor, who was last seen in Geetha Govindam, says, "It's a fascinating script that comes with a heart-warming message and an amazing cinematic appeal. I am in awe of Elsa's character and am delighted to dub for her part. She is an inspiring character for all the girls out there and being associated with Disney is a dream come true moment for me."
Directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, Frozen 2 is set to hit screens in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on November 22.
