V, starring Nani in a negative role for the first time, will hit the screens on March 25, 2020 coinciding with Ugadi. Billed to be a neo-noir thriller, the film also features Sudheer Babu as the parallel lead in a cop's role.

"The shooting is almost through, save for two action sequences and a song. This Ugadi will unleash a new dimension in Nani and we are sure the film will exceed all the expectations," says Harshith Reddy, one of the producers of the film.

Nivetha Thomas, who rose to fame with Indraganti's Gentleman has been roped in to play the female lead opposite Sudheer Babu, while Aditi Rao Hydari of Sammohanam-fame is paired alongside Nani.

The makers, on Monday, has shared the release date poster with William Shakespeare's popular quote: "At this hour lie at my mercy all mine enemies." Shot across Bangkok and Hyderabad, V has music by Amit Trivedi.
