We recently reported that Shah Rukh Khan's next will be directed by Atlee and that the project has been titled Sanki. The Baadshah of Bollywood met the young filmmaker during the making of Thalapathy Vijay's Bigil and they enjoyed an IPL game together.

Atlee along with his wife Priya recently attended the birthday bash of Shah Rukh Khan in Mumbai. Interestingly, Vetri Maaran also graced the event, and posed for photographs with Shah Rukh, thereby fuelling speculations that the actor might fund the Bollywood remake of the director's last film, Asuran. Whether Shah Rukh will reprise the role of Dhanush from the original is, however, yet to be seen.

Shah Rukh, meanwhile, has announced that he will announce his next only after the completion of the first schedule.
