Raghava Lawrence, who was last seen in the fourth installment of the Muni franchise, Kanchana 3, is currently busy with his Bollywood directorial debut. Titled Laxmmi Bomb, the film is the Hindi remake of his 2011 blockbuster hit Kanchana - the second film in the horror franchise that began in 2007 with Muni. The film will have Akshay Kumar reprising Raghava Lawrence's role from the original.

Now, reports suggest that Lawrance will be teaming up next with director Lingusamy for an untitled project, which is said to be the Tamil remake of Ram Charan's 2018 blockbuster hit Rangasthalam. However, an official confirmation is awaited.

Rangasthalam, a period action drama, had Ram Charan playing the role of a partially deaf person, while Samantha played the female lead. Directed by Sukumar, the film got a release last year and emerged a blockbuster. The film, notably, also became the highest opener among the Telugu films in Chennai.
