Director Lakshman is teaming up with Jayam Ravi for the third time for the film Bhoomi. The first-look poster of the film was unveiled on Twitter today. 

The poster suggests that Jayam Ravi is playing the role of a farmer, and it looks like Bhoomi will be yet another Tamil film about the plight of farmers.

Lakshman and Jayam Ravi earlier teamed up for the films Romeo Juliet and Bogan, which turned out to be decent hits at the box office. 

Nidhhi Agerwal, who was last seen in Telugu blockbuster iSmart Shankar, is playing the female lead in Bhoomi, which also stars comedian Sathish in a supporting role. 

D Imman has composed the music for the film, which is produced by Home Movie Makers.
