Ram Gopal Varma courts controversy yet again

CE Features

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has announced yet another controversial film on Sunday. The Sarkar director, who is promoting Lakshmi's NTR in Vijayawada and other parts of Andhra Pradesh, has made an impromptu announcement that his next film is titled Kamma Raajyam lo Kadapa Redlu.

Asked about his idea behind the film, RGV stated that the film is an attempt to depict the solidarity between the two communities in Vijayawada. "The title is good. Maybe, the film might show solidarity between the two communities here. I have just thought of the film and will soon start working on the script," said the ace director.

The film's title refers to the latest developments happening after the change of guard in Andhra Pradesh. Later, RGV took to Twitter and declared that Kamma Raajyam lo Kadapa Redlu will be shot in Amaravathi and Vijayawada, and will be produced by Rakesh Reddy, who also produced Lakshmi's NTR.

RGV has already announced a film on slain gangster Nayeem, a Sasikala biopic, Sridevi, Kadapa, Guns and Thighs, Tiger and Nuclear, so it remains to be seen whether Kamma Raajyam lo Kadapa Redlu will materialise or not.
