We had recently reported that Simbu, who had been to the UK to get in shape for his role in Venkat Prabhu's Maanadu, has joined the sets of Hansika's 50th film, Maha, in Chennai. Now, the actor's look for the extended cameo in the film has been revealed. Simbu sports a funky hairdo in his new avatar.

STR had previously worked with Hansika in Vaalu, and was also supposed to collaborate with her in the now-scrapped Vettai Mannan.

The film, with music by Mohammed Ghibran, is directed by debutant UR Jameel. Produced by Mathiazhagan under his Etcetera Entertainment banner, Maha also stars Srikanth, Thambi Ramaiah, Karunakaran, Nasser, Jayaprakash, and Chaaya Singh in supporting roles.

Meanwhile, Simbu is expected to start shooting for the Mufti Tamil remake, bankrolled by Studio Green, and directed by debutant Narthan, after wrapping up Maanadu. He has also reportedly given the green signal to director VZ Dhorai for a sequel to his 2005 gangster thriller, Thotti Jaya.
