Karan Johar turns relationship expert for Netflix India show What The Love

Netflix India and BBC Studios India have roped in the Koffee With Karan host for their new dating-themed reality show

Netflix India will collaborate with Karan Johar on an upcoming dating-themed web show titled What The Love?, the streaming platform announced on Saturday.

Presented by BBC Studios India, the reality series will feature Karan in the role of a relationship expert. “This is probably not how presents work but on the occasion of his birthday we've decided to gift ourselves a dating show hosted by Karan Johar,” Netflix tweeted. More details about the show’s format and length are yet to emerge.

The Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham director has previously collaborated with Netflix on the anthology film, Lust Stories. A sequel of sorts, titled Ghost Stories, is slated for the production in the coming slate. Additionally, Dharmatic Entertainment, the digital wing of Karan’s home banner Dharma, has produced the upcoming Netflix original film Guilty, directed by Ruchi Narain and starring Kiara Advani.

On the feature film front, Karan Johar’s upcoming directorial venture is Takht. The big-budget period drama is set in the Mughal era and stars Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Anil Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Jhanvi Kapoor
