We had previously reported that Jayam Ravi will be collaborating with Bogan-director Lakshman for the actor's 25th film. It's now known that the makers are in talks with Nidhhi Agerwal, known for her Hindi film Munna Michael and Telugu film Savyasachi, to play the female lead. If she gets on board, this will be her debut Tamil film. 

Tentatively titled as JR25, the film will have Jayam Ravi playing the role of a farmer according to a source close to the film. Produced by Home Movie Makers, JR 25 will mark the third collaboration between Jayam Ravi and Lakshman after Romeo Juliet and Bogan.

Meanwhile, Jayam Ravi has Comali, a film with Endrendrum Punnagai filmmaker Ahmed, the Thani Oruvan sequel and a three film deal with Screen Scene Media Entertainment Pvt Ltd in his kitty. On the other hand, Nidhhi will next be seen in the Telugu film iSmart Shankar starring Ram Pothineni.
