We had previously reported that director Karthik Thangavel who made last year's Adanga Maru starring Jayam Ravi, will be teaming up with S Lakshman Kumar of Prince Pictures for his next. The latest update is that the makers are in talks with Karthi for this film. 

Karthik had earlier said, "I narrated three rough drafts to Lakshman sir, all of which were close to my heart. He left it to my choice, so now I have to decide which of the three — a nail-biting action script, a proper thriller plot, and an ambitious adventure drama — will be my next." Interestingly, Prince Pictures produced Karthi's last film Dev. 

Meanwhile, Karthi has recently wrapped up shooting for Kaithi, which is directed by Maanagaram filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj. The actor will next be working on an untitled project by Bakkiyaraj Kannan who made Remo. He also has a film with Jeethu Joseph in the pipeline.
