Actors Daniel Bruhl and Emily VanCamp are returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as part of Disney+ streaming service's Falcon & Winter Soldier web series. VanCamp portrayed Sharon Carter, the grandniece of Captain America's (Chris Evans) love interest, agent Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell),  in 2014's Captain America: The Winter Soldier and in 2016's Avengers: Civil War. Bruhl was the main villain, Zemo, in the latter film.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Handmaid's Tale director Kari Skogland is coming onboard to helm the project, which is based on the travails of Anthony Mackie's Falcon and Sebastian Stan's Winter Soldier. The duo were last seen in Avengers: Endgame, when Captain America passes his mantle on to Falcon.

Disney+ is set to launch on November 12
