Dance choreographer Dinesh, who made his acting debut in the critically acclaimed Oru Kuppai Kathai, co-starring Manisha Yadav, has signed a new film titled Nayae Peyae. Sakthivasan, who made the national-award-winning short film, The Real Salute, featuring Kiran Bedi, will be helming the film. 

The film is said to revolve around a happy-go-lucky youngster who does petty robberies and leads a carefree life with his friends. When he decides to settle down after pulling off one huge heist. he plans to kidnap a dog for ransom, along with his friends. But, they get confused and end up kidnapping a ghost instead. The problems they face post the kidnap is said to be told in a hilarious manner. 

Newcomer Aishwarya plays the female lead in the film, which also stars Aadukalam Murugadoss, Shayaji Shinde, Rokesh and Krish in important roles. Apart from producing the film, Gopi Krishna is also editing the film, While the cinematography is by Niran Chander, the music is composed by NR Ragunanthan. The film went on floors yesterday.
