We had recently reported that Trisha's upcoming film with director Saravanan of Engaeyum Eppothum fame has been titled Raangi. The film, scripted by Saravanan's mentor, director AR Murugadoss, went on floors in Chennai last month.

Now, we hear that the film's first schedule has been completed, and Trisha and the team will be flying to Uzbekistan in a week's time for the next schedule. The 96-actor will reportedly be playing a bold, self-willed character, in sync with the film's title.

While Saravanan's regular composer C Sathya will be in charge of Raangi's music, the rest of the cast and the crew is expected to be announced soon.

Last seen in Rajinikanth’s Petta, Trisha is currently shooting for director Sumanth Radhakrishnan’s action-adventure. She is teaming up with Simran in the film, which is touted to feature India’s first deep-sea stunt sequences. It is speculated that she and Simran play siblings in the yet-to-be-titled film.

Trisha is also said to headline the Tamil remake of the Taapsee-starrer Badla, but there has been no official confirmation yet.
