It was earlier speculated that RX 100-actor Payal Rajput will next be seen as one of the leading ladies in Nandamuri Balakrishna-starrer Ruler. However, the film's producer C Kalyan has denied these reports and termed it a rumour.

"There is no truth whatsoever to the news that Payal has been roped in our film. We haven't finalised anyone as yet," said C Kalyan.

The KS Ravikumar-directorial, which features Balayya as a cop will be released during Dasara. The regular shoot will commence in June.

Meanwhile, Payal is shooting for Venky Mama, in which she is paired opposite Venkatesh. She has also signed on to play one of the leads in Ravi Teja's Disco Raja and a crucial role in Nagarjuna-starrer Manmadhudu 2.
