Actors Annette Bening and Michelle Pfeiffer are all set to share screen space in the psychological thriller Turn of Mind, to be helmed by Gideon Raff.

The film's script, based on Alice LaPlante's book Turn of Mind, has been adapted by Pulitzer Prize winner Doug Wright.

The story centres on a retired alzheimic orthopaedic doctor, who is trying to figure out - in her moments of clarity - if she killed the person the cops claim she had, or if she's being framed.

According to the director, Turn of Mind is an edge of your seat emotional thriller. "It's a tale of a warped friendship between two brilliant, sharp, forceful women who are bonded equally by their love for and jealousy of one other," he said, in a statement.
