Shriya Pilgaonkar joins the cast of Bhangra Paa Le

Also starring Sunny Kaushal and Rukhsar Dhillon, the film is a love story that shuffles between past and present, and showcases romance through the ages

Actor Shriya Pilgaonkar, who made her Hindi film debut with Shah Rukh Khan's Fan, has joined the cast of Bhangra Paa Le, directed by Sneha Taurani.

Also starring Sunny Kaushal and Rukhsar Dhillon, the film is a love story that shuffles between past and present, and showcases romance through the ages. 

"I'm really excited to be part of Sneha's debut film Bhangra Paa Le. She is so much fun to work with. My track with Sunny in the film is beautiful and it was my first time shooting in Punjab which I loved. RSVP has been doing some really good work and I'm happy to be part of one of their upcoming films," Shriya said in a statement. 

Sneha, who previously assisted Akarsh Khurana on his film, Karwaan, will make her directorial debut with this film, which traces the evolution of the Punjabi dance form, Bhangra.
