We had earlier reported that actor-turned-composer Darbuka Siva will soon don the director's hat. The latest on this project is that it went on floors yesterday with the tentative title, MNMN. The film is being produced by Sameer Bharat Ram (known for producing Uriyadi) and Deepa Iyer.

Talking about the project earlier, Sameer had said that the film will be ‘indie’ in all aspects. "It's a coming-of-age film featuring a bunch of new talent," he had said.

While Darbuka Siva has also written this film, details about the rest of the cast and crew are as yet unknown. Meanwhile, as a composer, Siva is awaiting the release of Gautham Menon’s Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta, starring Dhanush and Megha Akash. The Nimir composer also has Rocky in the pipeline, which stars Taramani-fame Vasanth Ravi and Raveena Ravi in the lead.
