Shankar to collaborate with Vijay and Vikram?

CE Features

Director Shankar had started the pre-production work for his next film, Indian 2, starring Kamal Haasan, even before the release of his last film, 2.0, the sequel to Endhiran.

With the shooting getting delayed because of Kamal Haasan's political commitments, rumours started circulating that Shankar has decided to move on to a new project, and is currently in talks with Reliance Entertainment for the same. The project was said to be a big-budget actioner, starring Vijay and Chiyaan Vikram as the leads.

However, when we reached out to sources close to the filmmaker, they were quick to dismiss the rumours as false. "No such talks happened with any production house. Indian 2 will go on floors soon," they said.

Vijay, meanwhile. is currently shooting for Thalapathy 63, directed by Atlee and co-starring Nayanthara, Indhuja, and Kathir. Vikram, on the other hand, is awaiting the release of his gangster drama, Kadaram Kondan, produced by Kamal Haasan.
