Tabu is returning to Telugu cinema after a gap of a decade. The actor, who was a part of Telugu films like Coolie No 1, Ninne Pelladatha, Chennakesava Reddy and Shock, will be playing an important role in Allu Arjun's new film, directed by Trivikram Srinivas.  Tentatively referred as AA 19, the film stars Pooja Hegde as the female lead and it is being bankrolled by Allu Aravind and S Radha Krishna under their banners Geetha Arts and Haarika & Haasine Creations.

"She is pleased with Trivikram's script and that made her immediately give a green signal to the film. She will be playing Allu Arjun's mother in the family entertainer," says a source.

While reports of Bollywood actor Nana Patekar playing an important role in the film surfaced a couple of days ago, the team has vehemently denied those speculations.

The pre-production work of the film is complete and the team will announce the details about the other cast and crew soon.
